Ahoy Matey!

Around the time Sydney was due, my sweet so sweet mission companera Laney told me she was sending me a package and asked what would be the most helpful with a new baby. I told her anything that would let the older girls feel loved and, more importantly, keep them busy.

Man alive, did she deliver! She sent a binder full of worksheets and family pictures in page protectors along with dry erase markers so the girls could color on them over and over. She sent little rings with streams of tiny ribbons which the girls grabbed and danced with. She sent FIVE cd mixes she burned just for me (and have I mentioned? Her mixes are thebomb.com). She sent little 3-d paper French thingies with people and pattisseries and the Eiffel tower on them so the girls could create their very own Paris. She sent a pile of books along with a cd of her reading them aloud. We keep them in the car and believe it or not, Liesel and Ireland prefer reading along than watching anything on the DVD player. She sent molding clay. She sent stickers. She sent coloring books. She sent a pop up putt putt golf book.

She also sent this hilarious photo prop and I just had to get a pic of everyone using it. Thanks Laney! You have no idea how much we all loved your package!!!
